1–5 November

Buenos Aires

Port pace, Italian-style coffee, and tango after dark — the city is huge; pick 2–3 neighbourhoods for deep walks. Watch pickpockets on transit and near Caminito; bag in front, phone away.

Buenos Aires

Map: OpenStreetMap + Leaflet. Markers are approximate — confirm exact entrances in Google Maps.

📍 Good to know

SUBE

Card for metro and buses — buy at kiosks; sometimes DNI is needed to register; tourists often use a multi-ride ticket from a service point.

Milonga

“A dance for everyone” happens in halls and clubs — check the schedule and dress code; some nights are more touristy, others more local.

Safety

Avoid flashing cash; taxis via apps (Cabify / similar) or official ranks. At night keep La Boca to daylight hours.

Porteño flavours

🥩
Asado

Social grill — beef, chorizo, provoleta.

🥟
Empanadas

Baked Mendoza style vs fried — try both.

Café cortado

Espresso with a splash of milk — a bar ritual.

Iguazú

One of the world’s largest waterfall systems — wet, loud, and green. The Argentine side has paths between cascades; Garganta del Diablo is a must. The Brazil side (Foz) may need a visa — check before you go. Rain jacket, grippy shoes, insect repellent in season.

National park on the AR side; Puerto Iguazú — lodging base and buses.

Tickets & timing

Timed slots may be required in peak season — check the park’s official portal. Enter early, bring water and a power bank (humidity).

Mendoza

A city ringed by Andes and vineyards — Malbec is just the start. Biking Maipú and Luján de Cuyo is popular; book tastings. Sun is strong: SPF, hat, water. No separate OSM map in this plan — quick Google jumps below (wineries are spread out).

Patagonia in an “alpine” mood — Nahuel Huapi lake, chocolate shops, and wooden peaks. Weather shifts: layers, jacket, hat even in summer. In November days are longer; snow on summits happens, but lower trails are usually fine.

Centro, Llao Llao, boats from Puerto Pañuelo — check seasonal timetables.

Cerro Campanario / Otto

360° views — queues stack up on fine days; buy tickets online if available.

Practical tips

Money, safety, language — plus sebbie.pl tools

This itinerary is part of the catalogue. Other routes and tools:

💱 Peso, “blue” rate & payments

Argentina has an official and informal (“blue”) exchange rate — cash USD/EUR often buys more than card payments at the official rate. Verify current rules (MEP and other channels) before travel; Wise and transfers can be limited. ATMs charge fees — plan cash for eateries and taxis.

🧉 Mate & dining

Mate is a shared drink — don’t touch the bombilla in someone else’s gourd. In restaurants ~10% tip is appreciated for good service; not always added to the bill.

✈️ Loty krajowe

AR, Flybondi, JetSmart — low-cost carriers; check cabin baggage and check-in. Delays happen — don’t book tight international connections the same day as a domestic hop.

🛂 Wiza i zdrowie

Many nationalities enter visa-free for tourism for a limited stay — confirm with your foreign ministry before flying. Travel insurance with medical assistance is recommended; vaccinations (e.g. yellow fever) if needed — ask your doctor.
